Keith met Casey while in the Navy in 2012 aboard the USS New Orleans, both serving as ITs. Their connection deepened through shared laughter and conversations, leading to a pivotal moment when Keith invited Casey on a Harley ride with friends. Little did they know, that day would shape their future.

After spending nearly every day and night together until Keith left the navy in 2013, an eight-year gap unfolded. Each experienced personal growth, evolving into the mature individuals they are today. In 2021, Casey, now out of the Navy, orchestrated a reunion, inviting Keith to spend a weekend at her father's home in Virginia. The scene was set with Keith arriving on his "new" Harley, and the weekend unfolded with joy, adventure, and late-night conversations that stretched into the early hours.

As the weekend drew to a close, Keith, riding into the distance on his Harley, evoked a feeling of déjà vu of their Navy farewell. In that moment, both realized they never wanted to say goodbye like that again. Soon after, Casey visited Keith in Ohio, from what felt like years apart was only a few months. From that moment forward, their connection transformed; they were no longer just best friends but two souls deeply in love. And so, their journey into matrimony began, a testament to a love that withstood time and distance.
